Bonadrag

These pieces from Bonadrag have really inspired me to start blogging again. I am literally obsessed with the first necklace. It reminds me of the Day of the Dead skulls. I love how chunky this necklace is, and it really makes a strong statement.
The second ring here is very simple. It reads "May it watch O'er you" in its mirror image. It was inspired by a 19th century wax seal that was found in a shop in Glasgow, Scotland. I love how such a simple ring can have such meaning to it.
The third piece of clothing reminds me of architecture and tribal signs at the same time. The bright colors catch my eye. I think this shirt/cloak/dress really speaks for itself.
The last sweater is cool and edgy. The detail is unique and its bubble shape makes it easy for anyone to wear.

uninterested

I have not been inspired by anything lately...and it is very upsetting. I'm hoping for a trip to New York City soon, where there I know I'll have a list of things to post. Sorry for not writing in a long time if you have been following...

All I have to say is that I love the unearthen vial necklaces from bonadrag. They are filled with; drops of the pacific ocean, holi powder, and crude oil. I like the almost bullet shell shape of them and the "green" vibe.

DIY

These studded ballet slippers run for $48 on bona drag. I fell in love with them first sight since I take dance. But I knew that I could make these myself! I would much rather pay around twenty dollars for these unique slippers, rather than almost 50. They may not look exactly the same when I am done, but once I make them I will put up the ending results...

Balmain's spring 2010 collection. Featured in Paris Fashion Week. I want to start off saying that this collection is everything that has been building up in my mind for the past months. It's super edgy, but feminine, pretty, and rugged all at the same time. I love the elongated shoulders, and metallic bursts. The overall look of the collection just gives me such inspiration. I would die to own these pieces. This collection is ME in a nutshell. I couldn't even tell you which outfit is my favorite because I love each one in a different way. From head to toe the models are super chic.

This spring/summer seems to be all about ripped and destroyed articles of clothing while glammed up with gems and sequins. Also, extended shoulders and military jackets. These are all great investment pieces that you could wear for years. There is no need to spend a fortune on ripped clothing, it can be a easy DIY project!

Thanks for reading, love you all xox

Studs are my new rhinestones

The boots I am dieing to have. These black studded boots are made by Frye. I love the biker, hardcore look that the boots have. I could make any outfit super edgy or girly with a kick just by wearing these boots. I love love love the vintage feel to them, and the studs just add more glamour. I may just have to start saving to add them to my collection of shoes. They make me all warm and fuzzy inside, and I NEED to have them! My greatest thanks to the Frye company to making such brilliantly versatile shoes!
